Athene Seyler

Athene Seyler, CBE (31 maja 1889 - 12 września 1990) była angielską aktorką, znana głównie ze swoich występów teatralnych. Zadebiutowała na ekranie w 1921 roku i zyskała sławę rolami starszych dam w brytyjskich filmach od lat 30. do 60. XX wieku. Jej najbardziej pamiętane role teatralne to m.in. w The Rivals, The Importance of Being Earnest i Arsenic and Old Lace. W filmie i telewizji wystąpiła m.in. w The Citadel (1938), Night of the Demon (1957) i The Avengers (1964, 1965). Była prezydentką Royal Academy of Dramatic Art i komandorem Orderu Imperium Brytyjskiego.
