W roku 1941 angielski samolot, wracający z nalotu bombowego znad Zagłębia Ruhry, dostaje się w krzyżowy ogień artylerii i zostaje strącony nad okupowanym Paryżem. Angielscy lotnicy wyskakują z maszyny ze spadochronami. Szef załogi, sir Reginald, zdążył jeszcze wyznaczyć im spotkanie w jednej z łaźni tureckich w mieście. Każdy z lotników trafia w inne miejsce.
